State Line Baptist Church Youth Is Starting A Fundraiser To Help Gather Supplies To Send To The People In Haiti. If You Have Anything You Would Like To Donate To This Cause Please Bring It To The Church By Wednesday January 27th, 2010. The Following Information Will Let You Know What You Can Do To Help Out
1. Pray for the Mission and the work being done in Haiti.

God is faithful to honor those prayers and the field workers appreciate knowing that they are covered by prayer.
2. Financial contributions to the mission.
The mission uses funds received to purchase food, school supplies and personnel needed for the children.
We hire certified teachers to teach the children with integrated Christian doctrine
in the material taught to the children. We also aid in the education and supplies needed for the Adult villagers to learn how to plow and grow food for their families. Healthcare needs are met through the hiring of nurses and physicians.
3. Volunteer for mission work. The mission has one Coordinating Missionary stationed in the field. The rest of the missionary work is coordinated through Linda Lahr through trips to Haiti to set up clinics, coordinate with other relief agencies, and to conduct special events such as Bible Schools or construction projects for buildings to house our services.
4. Donate supplies for mission work. The mission provides a multitude of supplies to the communities in Haiti. Items in constant demand include:
Over-the-counter medications: Pain/fever medication, Cough/cold remedies & Vitamins Personal Hygiene Supplies: Tooth brushes, Toothpaste, Soap, Deodorant,
School Supplies: Paper, Pencils, Colored pencils, Erasers, Chalk, Pens, Glue ,Book Bags, Teacher Supplies
Ledger pads Pens Mechanical pencils and lead Stapler and staples Paperclips
Attendance/grade books Desk organizers Storage/Shipping
Large, heavy-duty clear plastic tubs
